Welcome to Fresh Feature Friday! From now until the start of the season Echo Mountain will be bringing you weekly updates on all of the brand new features being added to the park for this season.

Bringing back a bit of history, this week’s feature was in operation when Echo Mountain was Squaw Pass Ski Area back in the 60’s and 70’s. The Never Summer tucker used to run laps keeping the runs groomed, now it’s posting up in the middle of the corduroy for everyone’s jibbing pleasure. With a 3’ wide rainbow box over the top of it, there will be plenty of buttery goodness to go around.

If you want to win some Echo Mountain lift tickets or ’09-10 season pass, make sure to get down to the GO Scion at 10531 East Arapaho Road, Centennial CO this Saturday November 7^th and compete in a hot dog eating contest. This week continues the web release of the Echo Mountain team video, Echodemic Volume 2. On every Tuesday, from now until opening day, a new section from the video will be released free for download.

Some seasons go better then others and unfortunately sometimes we get hurt. In this week’s double feature, the Broken Team members throw down despite missing a good chunk of their season. Then watch the Echo Girls Steph Myers and Paige Rainear give the guys a run for their money in the girls section.

Energy is important if you’re going to be shredding park all day and thanks to Monster there will be plenty of it. The green glow from this 20’ long 2’ wide Monster Launch Box provides enough energy to send the head spinning with a plethora of trick ideas, let’s just hope the body can keep up with mind.

Along with this week’s Fresh Feature Friday, mother nature has provided us with over 30’’ of fresh snow. With all this snow, Echo Mountain wants to ensure that you and your friends get to enjoy it with the MORE SNOW = FREE LIFT TICKETS contest, open to all who purchase an Echo Mountain ‘09-’10 Unlimtied Season Pass by Sunday November 1.

The winner will receive a full day and evening of skiing and riding for themselves and a group of friends. The number of guests joining the oh-so-lucky pass holder will be determined by the number of inches of snow received from this storm. If there’s a feature that’s going to put a perma-smile on your face at Echo Mountain this season, it’s probably going to be the Neff Roller. At 7 feet tall and over 3 feet wide, the giant purple Neff feature combines smooth buttery boxes with rolling transition, and begs for presses, combos, stalls and airs. Just don’t take after the Neff Smiley and be sure to keep that tongue in your mouth!

Along with Fresh Feature Fridays, every Tuesday from now until the start of the season, Echo Mountain will be releasing a section from the Echodemic Volume 2 DVD free for download.
